A touch of Liquid Smoke added a woodsy flavor to the Caesar dressing, elevating hearts of romaine mixed with hearts of palm, large pieces of shaved Parmesan Reggiano and chunks of toasty croutons. He has called working on opening a restaurant in the city where he grew up a dream come true. The Hayward seems to be a nice change in the atmosphere and menu from Andrews.
